Africa-related events at Rice University

 
The African continent, Africans, and members of the African diaspora are important presences at Rice and in the Houston area.  However, currently it is difficult to create an automated events listing, because Africa-related events at Rice emerge from multiple entities and do not all carry a common designation. Moreover, computer searches retrieve “African American” as well as “African.”

We suggest that you check for upcoming events by visiting events.rice.edu. Enter “Africa” or “African” as a keyword. Be sure to set both ends of the date range at the desired dates. Then click “submit.”
